Alabama Power will begin powerline work along Stadium Drive between 19th Avenue and 22nd Avenue. The road will be closed Tuesday, May 19th, and is expected to last until end of work day or until the project is finished. A detour will be in effect routing traffic around the work. Dates and times are subject to change due to weather. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly. Tractor trailers should continue along Summerville Road or U.S. 80 for alternative routes. Thank you for your cooperation.
