Phenix City Municipal Elections & Board of Education Elections

Municipal elections for City Council and the Phenix City Board of Education are managed by the City Clerk’s Office. For information regarding qualifying for city offices or school board, voting records, absentee ballots, etc., call 334-448-2720 or email elections@phenixcityal.gov.

The City Clerk’s Office does not administer national elections. For information regarding the National Election process, please visit AlabamaVotes.gov.

Election Messages

June 4, 2025

Phenix City Municipal and School Board Election Candidate Packets can be obtained in the City Clerk’s Office beginning Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Please phone the City Clerk’s Office prior to arrival at 334-448-2727 to schedule a pickup time.

REMEMBER: Qualification does not begin until the Mayor gives the Notice of the Election.

Qualification paperwork will be turned into the City Clerk’s Office between June 10, 2025 and June 24, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
