A contractor working for the City Utilities Department will begin utility work on Opelika Road between 17th Place and 18th Place. One lane will be closed for the work and traffic control will be available to route people around the work. Work is to begin Wednesday September 10, 2025 and is expected to last until until the project is finished. Dates and times are subject to change due to weather. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
