Public Hearings: Demolition of Structures on September 15, 2026

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Phenix City, Alabama, will meet on September 15, 2026, at 6 p.m. EDT, in the Phenix City Youth Center, located at 1601 5th Street South, to consider the fixing of costs incurred by the City of Phenix City for the demolition and/or removal of five (5) substandard buildings or structures located at the following locations:

- 1420 10th Avenue, Phenix City, Alabama: Resolution No. 2026-253
- 2410 17th Avenue, Phenix City, Alabama: Resolution No. 2026-254
- 709 12th Avenue, Phenix City, Alabama: Resolution No. 2026-255
- 1019 4th Street, Phenix City, Alabama: Resolution No. 2026-256
- 1707 12th Avenue, Phenix City, Alabama: Resolution No. 2026-257
Any person, firm, or corporation having any interest in one of the above described properties should appear before City Council at the aforementioned time and place if they have nay objections as to why the fixing of costs for the removal of the substandard buildings or structures should not be assessed as a lien against the property taxes upon which the substandard building or structure was located.
