The Phenix City Public Works Department will begin stormwater pipe repair work on Gateway Drive between U.S. 431 and 8th Place South. A section of the road will be closed and a detour will be in effect routing traffic around the work. The road will be closed beginning Monday January 12th and is expected to last until the project is finished. Dates and times are subject to change due to weather. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
