Sensory Friendly Trunk or Treat

Our event recognizes the challenges individuals with disabilities may face during traditional trick-or-treating activities. Our Trunk or Treat event is designed to be inclusive of all ages, and family members are encouraged to join in the fun. Participants of varying abilities are welcome to take part in the trunk or treating experience. Families can use this event as an opportunity to practice trick-or-treating skills. We aim to create a memorable experience for all participants.

Please note that access to the Adaptive Social Club Tent is limited to registered ASC members. Members will have access to the sensory tent, quiet zone, and sensory bags. Members will be provided a wristband upon check-in at the ASC Tent for entry. Registration for the Adaptive Social Club is available at pcparksandrec.recdesk.com under Programs > Therapeutic Recreation > Adaptive Social Club. Registration is free and will enable you to receive notifications about future ASC programs and events! You must be registered for ASC by October 29th, 2025, to ensure your name is on the member entry list to the ASC Tent.

We will open the line at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Please follow the painted arrows on the ground to ensure a smooth flow of traffic. Kindly be patient, as some participants may be experiencing trick-or-treating for the first time and could be feeling nervous or apprehensive. Trunks and booths will each hand out one piece of candy per participant; with multiple trunks, tents, and booths, and additional games and activities inside the stadium, there will be opportunities for additional candy. Our goal is to ensure all participants have the chance to receive candy.
