South Railroad Street will be open on August 7, 2025. There will be construction ongoing but traffic will be allowed through the site. Please take precaution in the construction zone. Please be advised Phenix City Police will be onsite to help traffic flow. A TEMPORARY ASPHALT PATCH will placed so traffic can pass. Please make arrangements to allow for possible delays. A section of South Railroad Street between 21st Avenue and Stadium Drive is closed due to ongoing road repairs. This area was closed beginning Wednesday June 18th 2025 and will remain closed until work is completed. A detour and traffic control measures will be in place routing traffic around the construction. We are aware this closure will affect school traffic and we plan to have the repairs completed as soon as possible depending on the weather. During this time, delays should be expected, and travel times adjusted accordingly. Thank you for your cooperation.
