Classic Country Legend: JOHN MICHAEL MONTGOMERY will be in concert at The Phenix City Amphitheater located on the banks of the beautiful Chattahoochee River at 508 Dillingham Street. He sold 16 million albums\, had 15 #1 singles\, won 4 ACM Awards\, 3 CMA Awards\, 1 American Music Award\, 4 Billboard Awards – Single Top Country Artist\, Top Male Artist\, and he was nominated for 2 Grammy Awards! Some songs we remember are: “I Love The Way You Love Me\,” “I Can Love You Like That\,” and “Letters From Home\,” plus many more hits. We will also have a “Songwriters in The Round” for the Opening Act featuring professional songwriters – Adam Grant\, Ray Shavers\, and Tracy Stephens who will be performing country songs they have each written. \nGuests are encouraged to bring folding chairs or a blanket to sit on\, but no coolers or pets are allowed. Concessions and adult beverages will be on sale. Tickets for this concert are $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. Advanced purchases can be obtained through Xorbia.com or purchased at the Phenix City Parks and Recreation Office at 1500 Airport Road. Kids 12 and under get in FREE.
