DESCRIPTION:Join us for the annual Veterans Day Parade to honor ALL veterans and their families – who also serve! Veterans deserve to be recognized and this is our intention. Come dressed in red\, white\, and blue if you wish\, wave flags\, make banners and signs\, or simply wave to them and say thank you as they pass along the parade route. \nThe parade begins at Colin Powell Parkway and Dillingham Street\, goes down Broad Street in Phenix City\, goes over the 13th Street Bridge\, and ends in downtown Columbus on the corner of 9th and Broadway. All Veterans are invited to participate. Motorcycles\, military vehicles\, cars\, trucks\, and marching groups are welcome. The event is free\, kid-friendly\, and open to the public with FREE free hot dogs\, hamburgers\, chips\, and bottled water. The Queen of Christmas and her royal staff have been planning to transform the amphitheater into a magical Christmas wonderland in honor of Santa\, who make also make cameo! There will be dancing and singing and lots of surprises\, however\, it is anyone’s guess what the GRINCH will have up his sleeve this year! The show begins at 7:30 p.m.\, Eastern Time\, followed by a fireworks show. Complimentary hot chocolate will be served for our guests to sip on while enjoying the performance. Admission is free.
