DESCRIPTION:Baby and Me Swim Lessons and Private Swim Lessons registration begins April 1\, 2024\, until May 1\, 2024\, on pcparksandrec.recdesk.com \nBaby and Me\nClasses are free but space is limited.\nBaby and Me Swim Lessons for ages 6 months- 5 years.\nOnline registration will open April 1\, 2024\nThis class is designed for babies to get comfortable in the water through water exploration and educate parents/guardians on water safety topics.\nThis is not a learn-to-swim class. \nPrivate Swim Lessons\n4 classes- $45(per participant) and 6 classes $65(per participant)\nAges 6 and UP.\nSkill levels:\nLevel 1: Introductory: If a swimmer has never taken swim lessons or shows minimal confidence in the water. Level 1 swimmers will receive assistance from an instructor and practice the following skills with support: blowing bubbles\, submerging underwater\, retrieving items underwater\, and floating on the back.\nLevel 2: Beginner: If a swimmer shows more confidence in the water but struggles to float on their own. Level 2 will reinforce Level 1 skills. Level 2 swimmers will practice the following new skills with assistance: Alternating arms\, breath regulation\, jumping in the water from the side of the pool\, and swimming or kicking to the wall.\nLevel 3: Intermediate: If a swimmer can fully submerge underwater\, float while taking their feet off the bottom without assistance\, and show the basic swim knowledge of freestyle or backstroke. Level 3 focuses on guidance for strokes\, distance\, and rotary breathing. The swimmer will practice building endurance to swim longer distances and breath regulation.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Sensory Friendly Swim for members of our Adaptive Social Club! We are shutting out the crowds and opening ONLY for our Adaptive Social Club members to provide a more peaceful pool experience for individuals who may become overwhelmed by overstimulation. This unique program is specifically tailored for guests with disabilities\, special needs\, or sensory sensitivities. \nOn certain days\, we will turn off our water features and slide for our guests who prefer a quieter environment. This is not a drop-off event; a parent or guardian must remain with the participant during the entirety of the event. \nPlease note that participants must be a member of our Adaptive Social Club and must register online in advance to be able to participate. There is NO fee OR resident restrictions to join the Adaptive Social Club! \nRegistration begins April 7\, 2025 \nSign up is exclusively on pcparksandrec.recdesk.com
