SUMMARY:2023 Veterans Day Parade
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the annual Veterans Day Parade to honor ALL veterans and their families – who also serve! Veterans deserve to be recognized and this is our intention. Come dressed in red\, white\, and blue if you wish\, wave flags\, make banners and signs\, or simply wave to them and say thank you as they pass along the parade route. \nThe parade begins at 10 a.m.\, Eastern Time\, at the intersection of Colin Powell Parkway and Dillingham Street in Phenix City\, goes down Broad Street in Phenix City\, goes over the 13th Street Bridge\, and ends in downtown Columbus on the corner of 9th and Broadway. All Veterans are invited to participate. Motorcycles\, military vehicles\, cars\, trucks\, and marching groups are welcome. \nCall Phenix City Parks and Recreation to learn more about participating or supporting at 334 -291-4719.

I will be placing my Letters To Santa mailboxes around your city starting November 14th! \nTo send me a letter\, simply drop it in one of the mailboxes located at The Roy Martin Center\, Phenix City Municipal Building\, and Phenix City Russell County Library. These boxes are labeled Letters To Santa. Please address your letter to Santa\, 123 Elf Road\, North Pole\, 88888. No postage is needed! Be sure to include your name and address on the letter! This way\, I can send you a letter in return. Make sure to send your letter by Thursday\, December 14th\, so I have enough time to reply before Christmas. \nMy elves and I have been very busy making toys at the North Pole this year. We’ve also been taking care of those famous reindeer\, who are almost ready for their big night!\nDon’t forget to leave me milk and cookies – it’s always a great snack after a long night in the sleigh. I’ll be stopping by your city on Christmas Eve once you’re fast asleep.\nWell\, it’s time for me to get back to the workshop. The elves are calling!
