DESCRIPTION:Notice for Bids\nBid #E23-01 | HOT MIX ASPHALT PAVING\, ROADWAY\, DRAINAGE\, AND CITY FACILITY AND PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS\nTO OPEN FRIDAY\, FEBRUARY 24\, 2023\, 10 A.M.\, EASTERN TIME \nThe City of Phenix City is seeking bids for HOT MIX ASPHALT PAVING\, ROADWAY\, DRAINAGE\, AND CITY FACILITY AND PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS \nBids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: E23-01 Hot Mix Asphalt Paving\, Roadway\, Drainage\, and City Facility and Property Improvements \nBids must be submitted no later than Friday\, February 24\, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.\, Eastern Time at: \nPhenix City Finance Department\nAttn: Purchasing Agent\n601 12th Street\, Second Floor\nPhenix City\, Alabama 36867 \nBids will be opened at the Martin-Idle Hour Park Community Center located at 3743 Moon Lake Drive\, Phenix City\, Alabama 36867. \nBids shall be effective from the date of award until February\, 28\, 2024. This contact can be extended for a period of up to three years if agreed upon by both parties and allowing for rate increases for year 2024 and 2025. \nThe City reserves the right to waive any informalities\, or to reject any or all bids\, and to award the contract to the best and most responsible bidder. \nA bid bond or certified check in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1\,000) must accompany the submitted bit.
